On Monday morning, a family that was in a white Lincoln Navigator truck suffered an accident on Highway 57, KM 32 north of the Matehuala – Saltillo section. The Guanajuatenses had as their destination to return to Michigan, United States, however, during the journey the truck went off the road, suffering a rollover. Inside the vehicle were six people, two minors, ages 8 and 11, who suffered bruises on different parts of the body and trauma to the skull as well as other injuries to the face.
Also two women of 20 and 27 years of age were injured, suffered some contusions in various areas of the body. In addition, the parents, both 50 years old, had different areas of pain in the spine and thorax, as well as various bruises.
With the help of the National Guard, Caminos Division, they were transferred to the General Hospital of Matehuala to receive medical attention.
